Follow me to the summit!!!: "Packed and Ready?"

Oh Boy. The time has come. Do I have everything I need? I venture to say I have more than I need. My duffel weighs 43.8 lbs, and I think that the porters are refusing anything over 35. This could potentially be a problem, and if I weren't so tired, I would go back and sift through the thousands of emails I have to be certain...but...if you know me, you know I will just risk it. I plan to leave a bit in Moshi for the safari following the climb, so I will make it work.
Today was busy just running around, getting my last minute "stuff." Shaun took the day off and I think I caught him looking at me several times w/ that LOOK. You know, the look that says, "Really? You are just now reading you need a steri-pen? You just now realize that an insulator for your camelback is a must? You can't find your camera battery charger? You think it's at work??" I married such a patient guy. Thanks Shaun- I know, I know. :)
Hard to believe I got it all in my duffel and backpack, but I did! I am so excited! It all seems a bit surreal. I can't wait for the new sights, smells, and experiences this adventure has in store for me. Goodnight, Next stop- Africa!!!
